TreatMark Support
What TreatMark is
TreatMark helps you decide your Treat Days — days you set aside for yourself — in advance.
You choose how many times a month you want one and which weekdays work for you. TreatMark picks the dates and builds a three-month schedule starting from the current month. It can remind you 7 days before and on the day, and you can optionally add the days to your device calendar.
No account, no sign-in, and your data stays on your device.
Getting started
Create your Treat Days
- Open the app.
- Under "Times per month", choose how many Treat Days you want each month (1–4).
- Under "Days", choose which weekdays are eligible (at least one).
- Tap "Create schedule".
Dates are picked from the eligible days and spread out across each month rather than clustering. For the current month, only today and later are eligible — a past date is never picked. If the current month doesn't have enough eligible days left, TreatMark creates only what fits; the shortfall is not carried over to the next month.
You'll then see the calendar. Use the arrows at the top to move between months, and the countdown shows how many days remain until your next Treat Day.
Change your conditions
Tap "Edit conditions" on the calendar screen to change the count and weekdays.
- When you tap "Save changes", the new conditions apply from the next month that hasn't been generated yet. Treat Days that are already scheduled don't change.
- If you go back without saving, you'll be asked whether to discard your changes.
Rebuild your upcoming schedule
If you want your already-scheduled upcoming Treat Days re-drawn with the new conditions, use "Rebuild upcoming schedule" on the edit screen. A confirmation shows how many Treat Days will be rebuilt.
- Past Treat Days are never rebuilt.
- This updates the schedule inside TreatMark only. Your device calendar is not updated automatically — tap "Update calendar sync" on the calendar screen when you want to push the changes.
Notes
Tap a Treat Day in the calendar to see its details, then tap the pencil icon to add a note (up to 80 characters).
- Notes are stored on your device only.
- Notes are never sent to your device calendar.
- A day that has a note shows as a filled circle in the calendar.
- To delete a note, use the trash icon; you'll be asked to confirm. Clearing all the text and tapping "Save" shows the same confirmation.
Add to your device calendar
Adding to your device calendar is entirely optional — do it only if you want to.
- Tap "Add to calendar" on the calendar screen.
- Allow calendar access.
- Choose the calendar you want the events added to (first time only).
- Review what will happen and tap "Apply".
Events are created as all-day events with a fixed title (TreatMark — Treat Day), marked as free rather than busy, with no calendar-side alarms. Your note text is not included.
After the first time, TreatMark reuses the calendar you chose. When there are new Treat Days to add, the button changes to "Update calendar sync".
Change the destination calendar
Tap the gear icon → "Calendar sync" → "Destination calendar". When you confirm the change, your TreatMark events move to the new calendar: everything is added to the new calendar first, and only then are TreatMark's events removed from the old one.
Disconnect calendar sync
Tap the gear icon → "Calendar sync" → "Disconnect", then choose one of:
- Stop future sync, keep existing events — the events stay in your device calendar.
- Also delete future events I added — removes the future events TreatMark added. Past events are never deleted, and events created by you or by other apps are never touched.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, TreatMark reminds you twice:
- 10:00, 7 days before a Treat Day
- 9:00 on the day itself
These are local notifications generated on your device. Note text is never included in a notification. If you rebuild your schedule, notifications that are no longer needed are cancelled and new ones are scheduled.
If you decline a permission
- Calendar declined: you can't add events to your device calendar, but creating and viewing Treat Days and using notes all work normally. To allow it later, enable calendar access for TreatMark in your device Settings.
- Notifications declined: you won't get reminders, but everything else keeps working. To allow it later, enable notifications for TreatMark in your device Settings.
Where your data is stored
Your conditions, schedule, notes, appearance setting, and calendar-sync information are all stored on your device only. Nothing is sent to a developer server.
Switching phones or deleting the app
TreatMark has no account and no cloud sync, so there is no way to carry your data across devices. The app also provides no restore-from-backup feature.
- On a new phone, you'll set up TreatMark from scratch.
- Deleting the app removes TreatMark's on-device data, and it cannot be recovered.
- However, events already added to your device calendar may remain there after you delete the app. If you don't want them to remain, run "Disconnect" → "Also delete future events I added" before deleting the app, or delete them later in your device's calendar app.
FAQ
Q. Why do I get different dates each time, even with the same conditions?
A. Dates are chosen from your eligible days so that they spread out across the month rather than clustering. Once a schedule exists, it doesn't change unless you rebuild it.
Q. This month has fewer Treat Days than I asked for.
A. For the current month, only today and later are eligible, so starting late in a month can leave fewer days. The shortfall is not added to the next month.
Q. I changed my conditions but my current schedule didn't change.
A. That's by design — condition changes apply from the next month that hasn't been generated yet. To re-draw your upcoming days right away, use "Rebuild upcoming schedule".
Q. If I rebuild my schedule, does my device calendar update automatically?
A. No. Tap "Update calendar sync" on the calendar screen.
Q. Why do the events also show up in Google Calendar or iCloud?
A. If the device calendar you chose is set to sync with those services, your OS syncs the events there. TreatMark itself does not connect to those accounts.
Q. Do my notes go into the calendar?
A. No. Notes stay in TreatMark on your device.
Q. I deleted an event in my device calendar by mistake.
A. TreatMark detects it as removed on device and asks whether you want to add it back. It never recreates events without asking.
Q. Can I change the app's language?
A. There's no in-app language switch. TreatMark shows Japanese when your device language is Japanese, and English otherwise.

Including the following helps us investigate:
- Device model (for example, iPhone 15)
- OS version (for example, iOS 18.5)
- TreatMark version
- Display language (Japanese or English)

- What actually happened, and what you expected instead
